As the claws dug into Dave's stomach,he did not know what to do. He tried to struggle free but not even one claw would let go! 'Help' he thought 'why me?'
"If I had strong enough powers, I could get through this alone."Cried Dave.
Flying through the air, a huge fire breathing dragon swooped down onto the stony pavement. Dave looked up and spotted the dragon in it's true form instead of just it's claws. As the dragon stomped to the ground he introduced himself as being Dennis the dragon.
Suddenly and without warning, Dennis grabbed hold of Dave's shoulders and carried him off into the sky. Swaying through the air, Dave wondered what was going to happen. Before very long they reached what looked like a small hole in the mountain; it was a legendary misty cave of Demi-gods.
Landing with a huge thud at the mouth of the cave the dragon spoke.
"The reason I have brought you here is because I need you to become a real Demi-god" Explained Dennis.
"I am a real Demi-god" Yelled Dave.
Dave thought he was a real Deni-god but his mum and dad had told him so. What they didn't tell him was that he would never develop any of the Demi-god powers.
Reaching for the cave, Dennis and Dave entered in silence. Dave thought to himself I don't want to do this! It's too dangerous and I could get killed! At last they stepped into the cave, and foggy mist surrounded them. Dripping, water plummeted like tiny beads of perspiration on to Dave's face, which ran down and dripped on the rocky floor.
Suddenly, Dave felt a rip across his legs! As he slowly bent down to check what it was he saw a sharp, pointed rock sticking out from the side of the cave. He felt blood dribble rapidly down his leg. Dave was worried that thought he was his cut would get infected because of the damp and dirty conditions he found himself in.
However, Dave did not have any time to dwell on his injury because coming from the other side of the cave... there was chanting. The voices said:
"Dave open this cage - let us free."
Shaking with fear, Dave tiptoed towards the voices and turned round the corner. There he spotted something that shocked him. Something that he never seen before. There, in a cage, were five revolting giants. He knew immediately that they were Cyclops due to the fact that they each had one huge eye in the centre of their faces. Dave wondered what he should do.
Should he:

Should he:
Open the cage! Walk away! or Talk them out of it!
Easy decision - I would walk away. Actually, I think I would run. This is an excellent story so far - well written Nathan!
