Nets of shapes and 3D shape making!

In maths we have been looking at 3D shapes and this week we had to make some! We started with the nets, added tabs, cut them out and then stuck them to make them 3D. This was a bit fiddly and we only had one maths lesson - phew! We would have loved to have coloured the shapes but Mrs S decided that we should build them first and colour them second! We did it so that we could learn a little bit more about nets, a bit more about faces, more about vertices and more about... (what am I missing? Can you add it in a comment below? You could describe a shape too and we could all guess what it is!) I can feel a prize for this one - tell everyone to have a go! Mrs S
