My Poem!

Run To The Shelter!

Frozen, the apprehensive siren stood silently,
Waiting for the German ambush to fly over secretly,
Wailing sounds emotionally began to approach,
As the siren began to groan it's terrifying song.
Feet thundered across the city like a heard of  frightened elephants,
Thousands scrambling to the shelter trying to get there first,
Planes crashing upon the sky,
People crying as they ran.
BANG! a bomb was dropped,
The London Blitz had began.
Fire shot up to the sky people screaming.
Everything was over,
But the question was what had happened?
