Chapter 1
Cautiously, Lin examined the cave; he peered to his left and then to his right. Nervously, he felt four mini elves tugging on his leg. He was terrified. Suddenly, he thought of what the king had said to him before he set off to the quest.
' In this bag awaits three objects that will help you along the way : magic dust to help you understand the language of the mythical creatures that you will meet on your challenging journey; an old, crumpled map that will guide you along the way; and finally a magnifying glass that will answer a deathly at some piont on your quest'.
As time passed he remembered that he had some magic dust in his bag, from when the King was a young hero himself. Shacking, he grabbed the magic dust, sprinkled it all over the elves heads. Strangely, the little elves guided him to a bridge, where a ball of flames said:
" On this bridge you will find a stone, engraved in this stone is a code. This code will help you get across it. There is five letters to open the gate."
Did he choose?
