The Big Write

Tomorrow we do our first Big Write - how exciting! It is all about making sandwiches. Tonight we have to talk to our families about our favourite sandwich so hat we can write about it tomorrow.

I go to animation club and I think it is amazing, but Iwant to tell Mrs Smith that she can go on sketch star they are cartoons that you use to make a film.That is me on sketch star, I always go on sketch star before I go to bed.

VCOP - what does it mean?

Vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation! We are using VCOP as part of the Big Write and lots of messages have been sent home about this.

Each classroom will soon have a VCOP display and, at the end of each week, all the children will have a time to write. It seems very popular at the moment. This week was the first week of Talk homework- hopefully children will be able to chat with their parents to answer a question posed by Mr Coles. This week, Mr Coles asked what the children would choose if they could have just one wish!

One group said that these Wow words are examples of fabulous words that we can include in our work, to improve our standards!

Concentrating in class!

Do they look as if they were concentrating? I don't think so!

Sockclops!

Sockclops is a creature with only one eye. Do you know what he is made of? There may be a clue in his name!
